Description:
This role will lead the deployment of project management activities and a team of project managers in Cincinnati and Chorley, UK. Projects that this leader will predominately support are New Product Launches, cost-down projects, and introducing new sku’s or existing products or changes to existing ones. The role will oversee costs, strategies, and team staffing to meet business objectives. The Assoc Director of OPM must be able to assess risk and engage cross-functionally to minimize that risk. Responsibility will include training and developing the team and inspiring the team to manage the numerous challenges they will encounter. The role evaluates and implements new processes and tools to ensure communication, execution, and efficiency.
This role is responsible for planning and governance and overseeing the successful delivery of multiple projects across all brands to ensure they benefit each other and align with overall business goals and the organization's strategic direction. It requires previous management leadership of direct reports. Creates and manages long-term goals.

- Lead Business Team Steering Committee and NPD Management Meeting via staff
- This position has direct supervisory responsibilities as a coach and mentor to ensure associates practice consistent project management processes and methods.
- Manage and direct the work of cross-functional project teams (indirect reports) for highly advanced and complex projects.
- Lead project teams and facilitate communication and interaction among cross-functional representatives.
- Define and enhance project management controls (processes, procedures, reporting, etc.) to align with the business's needs.
- Monitor portfolio progress to ensure milestones are being met across various projects.
- Track the portfolio against the Master Plan schedule, budget, and gate review objectives, reporting status to the organization on a regular basis.
- Coordinate the integration of new products into current business platforms.
- Other duties assigned by Management.
What you bring to the table:
- History of leading projects through trust, communication, and expertise.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or applied science.
- 10+ years of experience in project management.
- PMP Certification is a plus but not required.
- Proven stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience managing a team.
- Microsoft Project or similar PM system experience is required.
- Oracle experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of internal and external processes.
- Sound organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail and technically oriented Individual.
- Goal-oriented, confident, outgoing, and able to work well under pressure to succeed within a competitive environment.
